Thanksgiving: Heathen Conspiracy

The story of Thanksgiving is not just about the Native Americans saving the Pilgrims by providing them with food. The Pilgrims also learned from the Native Americans to make hand-turkeys by tracing their hands with crayons and stabbing them repeatedly for a successful turkey hunt. Thanksgiving has roots in older European celebrations where people gave thanks for having enough food to survive the winter.

Thanksgiving has an association with heathen astrology. The holiday takes place during the first week of Sagittarius, a sign of celebration and abundance. It is held on the fourth Thursday of November, which is linked to Thursday, a day attributed to Jupiter in the tradition that associates each day of the week with celestial bodies. This tradition dates back to antiquity and is still evident in the names of the days of the week, such as Sunday named after the Sun. The connection between Thursday and Jupiter, and the timing of Thanksgiving, suggest a possible influence from ancient beliefs and customs. The reason Easter is always on a Sunday could be because Jesus is considered a solar myth, and his resurrection symbolizes the victory of the Sun during the spring season.

Thursday is associated with Jupiter in the ancient tradition of attributing each day of the week to celestial bodies. Jupiter’s name has Germanic roots and refers to a powerful sky god associated with generosity, abundance, and gratitude. This aligns with the spirit of gratitude and thankfulness that is celebrated on Thanksgiving.

Furthermore, it’s noteworthy that American Thanksgiving must occur on the fourth Thursday in November. The number “4” has long been associated with Jupiter, as demonstrated by the 4×4 magic squares and the fourth sphere on the Tree of Life, Chesed, being identified with Jupiter.

The alignment of Sagittarius, Jupiter’s ruling planet, with abundance and gratitude, further highlights the connection between the holiday and Jupiter. The precise timing of Thanksgiving on Jupiter’s day during the time when the Sun is in a Jupiter-ruled sign raises questions about its true nature as a secular or pagan holiday.

Under the sky’s expanse, let love and compassion lead
In the temple of America, may kindness and grace succeed
Like a warm, comforting gravy, let peace and joy spread wide
Generosity and hope, like a stuffing, be our constant guide
Kind acts that nourish, like a bowl of mashed potatoes so fine
With hearts full of love, let peace be in our hands entwined
